Smart Phone owners, read please!

Today the phone I ordered came in. Oh joy. Activated it, awesome!
One thing I noticed. The battery dies fast as hell. And I have no interest in playing games or using the internet on it. Maybe a game or two once in awhile when it's on the charger.
So, just regular texting. Had a three minute phone call and I noticed battery life dropped, alot.

Soooooooooo.
Any ways I can save battery life? Because I have no idea. -.- I'm used to regular phones where I can heavily text/call and the battery will still be above 2 bars after a few hours...

hit it with a hammer that usually works for me.

That's the main problem with smart phones. I would recommend buying some spare batteries on Amazon.  They are generally fairly cheap.
