Tips On Becoming A Moderator!
« on: December 06, 2011, 11:46:58 pm »
Here are some tips on how to raise your chances on becoming a moderator.

Do not glitch or scam, rule-breakers have very low chances of becoming moderators and are usually banned if they refuse to stop.

Get a positive reputation, if you have a short temper or tend to be angered easily a player may look at you differently.

Help players whether they ask you for help or not, advertising help does not get you far and can annoy some players.

Get experience ingame, if you just joined you probably will not get a moderator position right away so wait a few months until you know Merchscape pretty well.

Be active, if you are not active as a normal user what does making you a mod do?

Listen to others, do not shut people out when they need you or want to talk to you, this not only makes you look bad but shows us you tend to like being left alone.

Don't just help ingame, the forums are a good place to post guides for players and can be accessed by many users.

Be honest, nobody wants a lier or someone who deceives.

Find proof before you accuse someone, do not just accuse someone of doing something because without proof you will not get very far if anywhere.

All you need is a good personality, good reputation, experience ingame, patience, a clean record, responsible attitude and positive attitude.

Just cause you do not get a position your first try does not mean you will never get it, it just means you are not ready.

Enjoy. :)

Ethen, we have a game but orange is trying to find a way to host it so be patient and when it comes out, you will be thanking wow. You will ask orange how a human could make such an awesome rs-ps and you will be shocked on how good he did. I know this because I played it through team viewer. Very fun, specially if you like merching!

That is probably because you played it with admin permissions, lol. I bet it's going to be a lot less fun if we have only 1 or 2 players on, and one of those players wants to merch, and the other wants to pk, lol.

even if you have 12 people joining, noone will be online 24/7, so it will still be 2/3 players

if your teamview works the same as mine, it basicly just rapes all colors, not just the floor.
