Huh.

Do you know the difference between a client and a server?

Anyways you sir need to get the client up, lol.
Why does the client matter if there is no server...?

I thought that was what we were working on? That didn't seem to make much sense to me...

One can't speak of one's own maturity, on account of one's own maturity.

As for your question, it doesn't make too much sence.
What's the difference between a smffy.com forum, and your own webserver? I think you can answer that yourself.

First off, it's "sense". Sorry it was bugging me.

Second, I was more or less agreeing with you on how it would be no differen't, but again I ask why switch if it's only temporary?

1. I saw that typo immediately after I posted. I didn't change it because, well, I don't care.

2. Depends if you want an actual website when the server comes out, and not a smffy sub-domain forum. From there it would just be moving the site to it's own domain.

25
Well I typed in the link
It's rather empty....

It's rather hasn't been started yet. Just a funky little menu.

26
so uh... it would just be a site but you would just like host it without control?
What?

27
What's your problem?
Why would "merchscape.ethanmendelson.com" be different than "merscahpe.smffy.com"?

I would just have to make an add-on domain of merchscape.com, and it would be just peachy.

It's just a domain name, you'd have just as much control; never mind.

You tell me, I don't see how it's any differen't. If it's temporary why switch anyways?

When I said that, I meant the domain name it's self. In Orange's post, he stated that making a subdomain on my site would make it less his, and I asked how a subdomain on smffy would be any more "his" than one on my site.

As for your question, it doesn't make too much sence.

While you guys get everything worked out, I can provide a standardized website at a subdomain of my website.

I do web development for a living, but they would wait for armageddon before taking advice from a player; they can't stand doing that.

I'm pretty sure they use 1&1 hosting, and 1&1 is usually up. I'm not sure which admin is the webmaster, but he's doing a pretty s***ty job.

Well if you want to win then you should learn what your talking about.

Helena, I don't have anything against you, and I try not to fight people I have nothing against, but you are incredibly stubborn. I realize that you haven't known me for long, but you're fighting the wrong person.

I know what I'm talking about. Look through everything I said, and quote my exact lines that "aren't true", and I'll be happy to explain.

It's an anti-terrorism act; the only thing it would truly do, is allow indefinite detention of citizens, which is essentially just the Patriot Act. Anonymous is right about 90% of the time, but they try to embellish things just for the sake of civil disobedience. They prefer protest over peace.

Also, Anonymous isn't a club, or organisation; they aren't a single team, it's the collective actions of thousands of people all over the world who remain, well, anonymous; it's more like a nationality than a group.

I'm not sure what operations group this is, but it's kind of hard to take them seriously when they misspell "anonymous" at the beginning.

I see that, but If you can find something that states it is only to be used when officially needed, or when our country is in danger, so they can not use it for any other reason. That would reassure me.

It's not going to put you in any danger, just leave it at that.

@ helena
You are starting to get on my nerves. It's not an organization, as it has no systematic structure, or central form of direction. It has no 100% common idealism; it's closer to being a nationality than an organization.

I highly suggest that you don't turn this into an argument; I tend to win, especially at my own damn game.

I'm not sure you understand them completely. Also, protesting over peace? What they want is PEACE. Yes, they are still protesting. They didn't spell anything incorrectly. It's the owner of the video who spelt it wrong.

I understand them completely, and yes, they prefer protesting over peace.

Like I said, Anonymous isn't a team, so there is no "them" to have spelled it wrong. I said the operations group spelled it wrong.

What's the point of hosting a client when the server isn't up...?

why was that mime reading the news?

The Guy Fawkes Mask; the symbol of anonymity; it represents an unorganized unity.
